Armonk Video Stream

I checked the camera a few times, but it looks like it's focused on just a few people practicing. Will it be on competitors ever?

Can't you see Rowe in the background memorizing 30 cubes?

Yes, but between all of today's event, multiBLD is the one they choose to show?

The frame rate of the cam/stream is so low, that it doesn't make sense to show speedsolves :).

btw. rowe got 22/30 cubes right.

Stuff that happened today:
Rowe 22/30
Bob Clock NARs (single and average)
Me Pyraminx NAR single
Takao Hashimoto Sq1 20.xx single
Me 1.17 magic avg, 1.11 single
Bob 34 move FMC
Josh Berg was a beast on Megaminx (low 2's) and 5x5 (one sub-2)

Wow, I had the North American record for 2x2, 2.59! Fifteen minutes later there was a 1.72 and 1.78(+2) by Rowe Hessler and someone else...The nation record was fun while it lasted :( I also got a 12.93 second solve for 3x3 :D Rowe made a nice 1:07 BLD solve, too.

Oh you were the one with the 12.93 solve? Nice! I didn't actually see it, as I was looking at something else, but I heard a big "OHHHHHH!!!!!!" by everyone and I saw you got a 12.93 solve. Your average was like number 7 among all the people right? Or something like that? Nice though! My average was 35.35, my best average ever:)

People should try this 2x2 scramble:
D2 R' D2 L2 D F' U R2 D F D L D R D B' R B R' B' L U L2 U L'
Rowe should have gotten 1.3x or so, he hesitated for a really long time then stopped the timer U2 from solved. Patrick Jameson got the 1.72 NAR.
I just sent the results to Bob, they'll be up fairly soon.
Lt-UnReal was 7th in the first round (18.29) but 9th in the second round (20.82), just missing the finals.

I got a 15.50 average in the finals :D showing that my Virginia 15.41 wasn't entirely a fluke. Once I get to the summer I'll practice like crazy to try to get to the 12-14 range. And all my 3x3s were sub-20, which was cool. Rowe almost did that, but his last one of the day was 21.04 (his final results were 13.46 13.29 13.44 11.05 21.04)

I had an average F2L with that OLL of the first have of the Y perm, then PLL skip. :D

My cube popped on a nice 16.37 solve in the 2nd round which counted as a DNF, if it wasn't for that I would have been in the finals. :(
Overall it was a fun competition and my first one I went to. :D
