Hi everyone I am a cuber from India.

My 3x3 average is ~35 (intutive F2L, 2 look 0ll and 2 look PLL)
best 20.99 (a very lucky solve 2 F2L pieces skipped)

My 2x2 average is ~109(normal 3x3 corners)
best 4.58

My 4x4 average is ~4 mins

My 5x5 average is ~10 mins

BLD ~ 20 mins

and I am trying to learn FMC and big cube BLD though I think I should practice normal BLD first.

Do you mean that your 2x2 average is 10.9?

Big cubes BLD seems to be a very difficult thing. I would recommend practising normal big cubes for a while, and learning some other puzzles (like 6x6, 7x7, pyraminx etc) before you try it. You would probably take over an hour for 4x4 BLD, and it would be a long time before you got a success. It just seems like a very ambitious thing to do, but try it if you want. :)

@RCTA
Yeah! lol having a 109 sec 2x2x2 avg would be a nightmare!!

I started learning the M2 method for normal BLD. I think it can be easily extended for edges of big cube BLD. I am trying to understand commutators for the centres.

@Zyrb Thanks!

@theace I am from Lucknow. Currently studying in NISER Bhubhaneshwar. You are in Mumbai I guess seeing your WCA profile.

You can edit your posts. If you look in the bottom right hand corner there are a few buttons there and one is "edit." Click on that and you can fix typos, spelling errors, or make yourself more clear, like if you accidentely put 109 instead of 10.9. anyway, welcome to the forums

Welcome to the forums! Great to hear that you're interested in BLD. The extension of M2 to big cubes is called r2, you turn only 1 inner slice instead of the whole M slice, to solve the wings. On 5x5 you still use M2 to solve the middle edges. If you've got any questions about BLD (either 3x3 or big cubes) feel free to ask in the Blindfolded forum or send me a message.

I have one question, what method are you using for BLD as those are some very impressive times that I see in your signature

Especially in 5x5 BLD. :p

Though, Aron is probably the best blindsolver in Australia. :)

@freshcuber
Yeah! I could but did not bother. anyway! Thanks!!

@rahul
How come you could mess up every single BLD and still solve a multiBLD 3/5 at axis?

I have no idea, I tried to go for 2 super safety solves, like 2 min memo and 2 mins execution still I was not even close.

In Multi I got 3/5 one cube was off by one cycle and the 5th was :fp

Good that you got 3 right! most of the times I cant even get 1 right!!

Not neccesarily. I would say, practise normal BLD. Not big cubes. Zane_C averages 8 mins on 5x5 (or so he told me a few weeks back) yet he can do 5bld in about 35 mins.
I'm always happy to see new members :)

Thamks!

can you tell me what memory methods you use. I use stories like 1 is Sun 2 is eyes and stuff and connect them through a story. But the problem is that I cannot unlearn the last story for the next solve. Either I have to wait a day for the next solve or memorize numbers. How do you people memorize. I heard that visual memo is good but tapping does not seem to be working for me. I am going to try phonetics. Is there some other memory method you would suggest?
