[Unofficial] Another sky diving solve

Wasn't this already posted in another thread? And discussed about the legality of an UWR because he was in a boat?

I think so, maybe he missed it and found this on youtube?

also, anyone have ever thought about what would happen if the cube popped while doing that, lulz, "Rain of Rubik"

Imagine dropping that rubiks cube.. man how shattered would i be.

I'm not sure, but this is my theory:

If you dropped the cube before you pulled the parchute, because it would have a lower wind resistance, it would only fall slightly faster than you, so you would be able to catch it.

If you dropped it after you pulled the parachute, then you would be in trouble...:)

This will definatelly not be the case, the cube will have a much lower fallrate because of the lower density. (it weighs less per cubic cm)
I've got about 3500 skydives and have some experience with taking stuff in freefall(books, fruit, plastic bottles with water, inflatable boats, etc), trust me pretty much everything falls slower then a person, even a camera mounted on a helmet. In freeflying (the discipline i do) some people play around with "skyballs" which is usually a tennisball opened up and filled with lead. Depending on the amount of lead used the ball can fall at about the same speed as an average head down position being about 170 Mph. So unless you fill up your cube with lead, it will definatelly fall slower.
