I bought a Mirror Blocks cube on ebay and it arrived with a broken cap. They gave me a refund for it but i think i want to fix the broken one instead of buying another and waiting a month to get it. Is there a reliable method of fixing it? I was thinking super glue but i doubt that would hold when i'm putting the pieces back in. Suggestions?

I guess i will. I just wanted to ask before going to the store if there was something recommended so i wouldn't have to make two trips. Just lazy like that.

I'll let you guys know if it works or not.

Super glue, or melt it with a sodering gun. then soth it out so it's even. Not exactly sure if it works but it sounds like it should.

I don't have a soldering gun and i don't know about buying one to attempt to fix a $4 cube. Wondering how much the super glue would cost also.

Superglue will be a couple bucks. And the superglue bond will be as strong as the original plastic. Just be careful that you don't glue the cap to anything when you glue it back together.

Yeah I thought about that... Might as well buy a ten dollar DIY. That you an customize. Or just go on to Amazon.com and find a cheap DIY I got one for $5.99.

well i'm not sure if the caps are the same on the fII, but i actually glued the caps on the fII with liquid glue, i dropped it once, and compared to 7 coming off, none of them came off. i've only dropped it once so far though, not sure how long it will last

I ended up buying a replacement off of lightake for $4.50, though i might still try super glue if i ever have any other reason to buy some.

These edges certainly look like they need edge caps.

F2 has edge and corner caps.
So does the Ghost hand

dat IMG tag yo

Isn't that the type a2 with tabs?

*Excuse me if I'm not updated on the naming of this cube*

it said A III on C4Y. I actually wanted to show a type F-I, but couldn't find any pics, so I got these.

It's funny that you guys mention that but some of the caps on the edge pieces broke off too, but it doesn't seem to really affect the performance of the cube that much, so i don't really care. The center cap is what i really wanted to fix, but i'll just wait for a new one. I hate to wait though, this is one of the cubes i've been the most exited to play with and i've had to wait weeks and weeks cause of this. Urgh.
