Cube Meetup In Dallas,TX

i live in san marcos currently and have been looking for cubers in my "local" area (texas).
San Marcos, you're in luck. We've had three competitions in Austin and will probably have another there in the relatively near future.

As for their meetup, it's not a competition, but more of a gathering of several cubers to just chill and cube for a few hours. Since you've apparently never done anything like that before, you'd probably like it, but you should definitely keep your eyes peeled for the next official competition. ;D

For future reference, you don't need to book a room. A place like Barnes & Noble should do. ;) As long as there's not more than idk 10 or so people that would be fine.

but the thing is i was expecting 10+ people

Anyone who is planning on coming please notify me so that i can tell how many people there will be, Thanks

I'd like to go. I'm new to the dallas area, just started working here (Richardson) a few monthsa go. been cubing for a while but not seriously, haven't learned fridrich yet. Sounds fun though! I'm ordering an A-V and an FII online right now but it's probably gonna be a few weeks until they show up. I've got a few friends from work that might want to go. We're all beginners though.

gymnerd, you from Texas State? Do I know you? I'm originally from San Marcos (well Wimberley technically)
