So like yeah...
I've had my a2 for about half a year now. It's been epic until about 2 days ago.
I assembled it, and I found it's popping, locking up, and is very slow.

I disassembled it again, cleaned it out, made sure the screws were straight on the core, and it's still this way.

I have no idea what could be wrong, nothing about the hardware has changed. Any have a fix to this? Has this happened to anyone?

all cubes detoriates, it's a normal phenominon (lol spelling).

apparently your A2 have reached the end of its life. But if you really wants to extend its lifetime for a bit more, you could try scratching marks with a knife on the tracks of the dge pieces.

Acctually I have tried that.
I really can't believe that only after 6 months my cube is dead. There must be something else here.

Did you lube it again too? I've found that helps my popping and locking problems sometimes on my Type B. I just think you should hop on the bandwagon and buy an FII :P They're niiiiice. How often do you solve the A2?

believe me, cubes with tracks usually have a shorter lifespan than normal cubes. That's why the newer Alpha models no longer use tracks.

Hey I just got my a2 NIB from lightake today, and it's my first A2. Can you guys please tell me what to do and what not to do because I don't want it to become bad. The turning right now is mediocre, kind of tight. Thanks.
edit: Do I need to break it in a lot?
