I bought it on impulse but i can't find ANY information on it online. Do you guys know if it's okay for the plastic on the v-cubes or any cube in general? How should i apply it? I've heard some you can spray inside and then work it in. Others you have to let it sit there for some minutes and others you have to take the puzzle appart and apply on each piece individually and allow it to dry. What kind of lube is this?

It's mostly for the V-5 cause it's gotten really stiff. A lot of static friction and it even seems to lock up more, but i might also use this lube on other puzzles if need be.

Edit: Oh, and I forgot to mention. I've never used any kind of lube before. Are you supposed to shake the can before using it or not?

I bought this lube also but don't have it yet. But its the lube Haiyan Zhuang uses for his alpha V and its really good. But I don't know if its good for the V-cube 5 but I think it can't hurt to use it on your V-cube

Thanks. Do you know how it's supposed to be applied? Do i let it dry or do i move it around for a new minutes first?

Have you gotten your lube yet? How is it?

Just as an update, i finally got the lube and used it and it pretty much did nothing. I'm still getting ridiculous amounts of static friction. What a waste of money.

I've actually had it for a few months. It was actually pretty good out of the box and for a long time. I had no intention to lube it but then it started developing way too much static friction so i decided to buy some lube on an impulse buy as I was shopping on lightake.

I lubed my V-5 again and it's a bit better, but the static friction is still better. I don't think it's too tight because once it gets moving it's fine, but it's just that it's got this "sticky" feeling to it. Hard to explain it but it's annoying, but it does turn smoother now.

I did try that lube on the MF8 Square-1 i also got from lightake after breaking it in a bit and it turns really nice. The lube worked way better on this cube. I've yet to try it on my other cubes but i guess i'll post results if anyone is interested on how D39 performs on difference cubes.
