new to the speedcube world

hello. first off id like to introduce myself

my name is lee (some call me danilee) i am
male
20
straight edge
vegan
i come from a place called kidderminster in england uk.

ok boring stuff out the way, i have been interested in cubing for a few months
and about a month ago my mate brought me a 3x3x3 rubiks cube.
i loved it and within 2 days i had learnt the beginners method for solving it.
fastforward 2 weeks and i had an average time between 1 minute 16 and 1 minute 30 for solving the cube using this method.

it was then that i discovered the f2l oll pll method and am currently learning the 2 look oll and pll.

im hoping to get my time down to 40 seconds.

yea you should be able to get even lower with 2 look oll and pll...i currently using f2l, 2 look oll and full pll and average 32 seconds...but i began to learn full OLL.

You'll want to work on that. An ideal cross is ~3 seconds or less.

I've known 2 look oll and full PLL since November 2009. Now in January 2010 I started learning the remaining OLLs. For your average ur cross is a good time. But if you want to be sub 30, or 40 practice your cross blindfolded, try to plan it out during inspection. You should be able to do it in 2-5 seconds. There are plenty of other posts on this and videos which can further help you out.

Yeah quite a bit lower, I know full PLL, and I think 33 OLL's and average almost half your times

my cross takes me about 10 seconds. f2l about 30 seconds oll and pll im still learning, so that time varies quite a bit

No, I mean when the moderator sends him a ban message, it says "Reason for Banning: ", and then there is a message. Usually for a troll, the message is funny.
