I've been averaging somewhere between 17 and 19 seconds. Is it time to learn the rest of the OLLs and fix up the bad ones which I already know, or should I continue just working on F2L?

Note: I know it says I know 43 of the OLLs, but 6 or 7 of them are 2 look ones with F R U R' U' F' (if you know what I mean?).

I did it horriibly..I learned full OLL..then full PLL..THEN I started doing fridrich solves (my beginning times were hovering slightly over 40)

Now they are officially sub30

You can do full OLL whenever you have the motivation ;)

I think you should do it ASAP. Not just you, but everyone! Even people who don't cube!

...Ok, maybe not people who don't cube....

But, yeah, let's say you wait to learn full OLL when you're sub 15 or something. It will probably end up harming your times for quite a while as you get used to recog and recall of the algs. The sooner you get them out of the way, the sooner execution of OLL becomes second nature.

I seriously don't understand (well, ok, I do understand: They can't be bothered) why people don't learn full OLL with the intention of learning it later. There is zero benefit to waiting and it's not like there's some law which prevents you from improving your F2L while you learn full OLL.

Go for it! From your OLL count, you only have 14 left to learn, you could do that in 2 weeks if you took your time. Easy peasy! =)

Is it just me that averages around 25 seconds and does not want to learn Full OLL? It surprises me that people here started to go full OLL when they where averaging at 30-40 seconds.

I would say it by far more important to learn F2L as best as possible. You could easily go sub-20 without full OLL. (however I would claim that full PLL is a requirement)

Full oll doesn't help much as full pll. Your're avg is about 17-19 so is good to learn. But u still can practice f2l cause u still can get sub-15 with 2-look oll. It's up to you. Good luck!

Sure, improving your F2L is a fantastic way to reduce your times, no argument there. But what would stop you from improving your F2L while also learning, say, 1 alg a day? It's not like it would harm your F2L practice in any way and if you're just going to end up learning it later anyway, the sooner the better, right? Can you give me one good reason not to learn it?

Er.............................

Whenever.

I learnt full PLL when I averaged 50 seconds, now im averaging just over 15 and I dont know full OLL. There is someone who averages 12 with 2 look OLL.

*...searches...*

It isn't just about faster times. Full OLL adds some variety to each solve. The same 2-look OLL's get quite monotonous after awhile.

Also, I think it's a bad think sticking with 2LOLL for too long. The longer you stick with it, the longer it takes to adapt to 1LOLL algorithms.
