Can't make Vancouver this summer. A Sask competition would be perfect for me anytime after this fall, whether it be in the winter, or next year.

There is a need because there are so many cubers out there that it is warranted, or because you don't want to travel to a competition? I've said it before, and i will say it again. If there is a substantial amount of cubers in one area to hold a competition, i will gladly do it. I don't need much excuse to travel somewhere for a competition. But i am not doing all the work, and incurring all the costs for 10 people.

I say build the scene first. Meet up with local cubers via facebook/meetup.com on a regular basis. This will encourage competition and community. I don't know what LanceTheBlueKnight is up to these days, but he might have something to offer on the subject.
