Hi, I am trying to start a speedcubing podcast. If you want to join all you need to do is send me a message and I will give you more details. Anyone can join as long as you have a mic.

Umm... who are you? No offense, but I think a podcast would be a lot more successful if someone who is more well known (and skilled, although I can't say for sure how fast you are) in speedcubing communities were to run it.

This annoys the **** out of me on youtube.

Yes, he is right. Post a bit more. (Lol, my post count also sucks.)

it's not about post count. they don't mean anything. Quality of a post determines who is more well know.

Yea, higher post count =/= quality. Some people rarely make posts here but are respected because what they do contribute is worth saying.

I guess I should correct myself a little. Being fast doesn't solely indicate that you'd be a good host for a podcast. There's plenty of people who aren't fast but are very knowledgeable. However, my point still stands that you haven't established any reputation for yourself (as far as I am aware).

Are you agreeing with me or do I not understand you?

I agree... but I would be happy to subscribe to you if it goes on iTunes.

Ian said cubing weekly will be up in the summer, when he has more time.

I'd like to follow up on this. I don't want to discourage you from doing this, and I'd be happy to join (I enjoy podcasts).

You don't have a reputation, but why not let this be a big part of it? ;). I don't remember Ian being too well known before he started CW.

I don't think you really need a reputation. I remember thinking the whole cast of CubingWeekly were noobs. Just have some knowledge of what you're going to say, practice, don't try to improv, provide accurate & relevant information, & have good quality.

However, I think you & Caedus could probably make a partnership instead. You appear to have more time on your hand so you could take the majority of the winter, Caedus could take the summer.
