The haiyan cube is not really good it locks up A LOCK, but its really fast and doesnt pop

Nah, it doesn't lock. It does at first, but most people probably don't break it in as much as possible. If you do that, it's amazing.

I think you should buy cubes depending on how fast you are because if at first you get the most amazing cube you won't have anything to look forward to till new cubes come out so here's a list.

Get the Type FII I REALLY like it. and it's relatively cheap. you could probably get 3 if you go with popbuying. they have long shipping but it's free so it's a good deal. and then later when you get more money try a different cube. or just limit yourself to one cube per order. get a few different kinds

I definitely would not recommend this cube for beginners. It is basically a modded version of the A5, but you definitely need experience before using it. The F2 is, in my opinion, the best of the best, but I still would not recommend it to a beginner. I'd go with either the standard type A1, a Yuga, mabye even an Edison, or just build up chops like I did, with a really good store bought cube. I spent the better half of a year with a store cube. I lubed it, broke it in really well, and built up speed until I was around sub 40, then bought a crap load of DIY's.
