Progress update, where to go from here?

I'm not exactly sure this is a "question", but I didn't think it belonged in discussion..

I learned Fredrich F2L and the 2look OLL. And I also had a friend come over and help me clean and re-lube my cube today, it's incredible how much better it is! After the cleaning, my record went from 1:05 to 59 sec in one solve. My newest best is 43, best F2L is 22 sec, not sure about LL, haven't cared to time myself there.

Should I go onto 2look PLL, or work at getting sub 40? Or something different entirely?

This. And then when you're in the 30's you might want to learn full PLL. But most of all, practice decreases your times, especially look-ahead with F2L.

Yeah, I timed myself already. 55 average now.

nice. Well all you need now is practice. now that your cube isn't sucky. just do algs that you suck at over and over until they just come without much thought and are really speedy. =D I'm so glad I'm past the stupid 30 mark now I'm almost to the sub 20. 2 seconds to go. XP

I average about the same as you and i didnt spend to much time with 2 look PLL, once i knew the PLLs for 2 look, i started learning the other PLLs, now i have 8 more to go. i use PLLtrainer a lot i find it really fun for some reason so maybe try it out once you learn a few algs.

What is PLLtrainer?

its a program that gives u a pll and u press the spacebar and execute the pll that is shown. It records your times and averages of all ur plls.
