MY Cubing Website! It FAILS!

Pimp my Cube fails...
Let's make it simple.
1)Disassemble your cube by popping en edge out after turning a layer 45 degrees.
2)Lay them all out with the stickers facing away.
3)Spray with CRC Heavy Duty Silicone or Jigaloo.
4) wait, then reassemble.

I like the pimp my cube.
I also like the lubing method. Sounds original.

I have tried that method, not exactly, but with a friends cube.
He lubed it with vaseline for a month, WD-40 for a week, then silicone. I can tell you his storebought came out very nice. I believe you should keep it the way it is. I like the detail too. This looks like the target audience are beginners with storeboughts, so the amount of detail should help avoid some confusion.

This also fails, spraying an unassembled cube with jig-a-loo causes the plastic to melt and become soft. The cube will be terrible and weak.

Make sure you don't fail before saying other people do.

+1
Vaseline is storeboughts is magnificent. Not sure about WD-40. I have some WD-40 brand Silicone so I'll try that with my store bought.

Probably, assuming you did what he said.

The plastic will be hard by then if you wait enough.

Yea, I guess you could wait a week or so... or be smart and spray it into an assembled puzzle.

The only thing I don't get is, how can you say this when disassembled has already worked for so many people?
In your reply please chop the tree.
