Been a while since I've been here... Anyhow, has anyone received an e-mail from a "Torgeir Blok" person? He claims to be writing a book about speedcubing, and I want to make sure this guy is legit.

Yea, I've spent the last little while going through some of his accounts, and nothing has shown up, except that his middle name is most likely Rast.

His name's an anagram of "boo! Trek girl" and "orb ogler kit", if that helps any.

I can't find anything about him on Google either, so I'd say it would be better to post the e-mail and see what we make of it. It'd be weird (and somewhat unlikely) to have someone write a book about speedsolving without actually joining one of the biggest speedsolving communities.
