Once again I'm asking the great world of speedsolving.com for advice on cubes! :)
So, my little brother wants to buy a 4x4 and I'm wondering what to get. Chris Bird, whom I believe is an awesome cuber, uses a QJ last time I checked, and he said very good things about it in one of his videos on youtube. I've also heard Eastsheens are very nice. Right now I'm looking at an Eastsheen on Cube4you.com, but I couldn't find a QJ at all.
Any suggestions are welcome!

I have ordered from cube4you and had good luck, I ordered a 4x4 Eastsheen from Mefferts in early Feb and it still has not arrived, I emailed several times and finally opend a case with PayPal, finally they responded however, that was nearly a month ago and still nothing. Just an FYI...concerning my experience.

I have a normal sized QJ 4x4. It turns really well! It's verry nice though it's illegal for WCA competitions. It has 4 logos on it which say 'QJ'. I'm gonna resticker it soon.

God that would **** me off! Sorry... Thanks for the info though! When (or if) you do get it I'd love to know how it works.

My experience is that 4x4 QJ cubes are allowed with their original stickers (at least for participants like me who are no threat to winning a record). I assume the idea of having no more than one logo on a cube is to prevent unforseen ways of cheating. (I cannot think of a way it would make a difference, as long as the logo background color is consistent with its face color.) The QJ logos are so faint they are hard to notice.

You have no clue about what speed is, do you? I'm not insulting him, but he isn't that fast. Unless you meant it the other way, in which he is awesome and a cuber.

Yes, they are competition legal. The QJ logos are engraved in the pieces, and not on the stickers, which technically makes them legal.

Sometimes speed isn't everything.
