Spare Parts for 7x7

Does anyone have a spare of this piece? I tried fixing the part myself but it did not work out that well and my 7x7 is a little more than 5 months old so I can't really ask V Cube for an extra part ;x

My (genuine) v-cube 7 has exactly the same broken piece on the same yellow side as yours.

I tried gluing it together but it fell off again after a few solves.

I am thinking of cutting a small length off a needle, heating it up and using it as a pin to hold the two pieces together.

Does anyone think that it will work?
