"Notes: The brilliance of this cube is not in it's out of the box features which frankly aren't that great. In reality the best thing about Type C is it's abillity to be adjusted and changed. Type C is often referred to as a Rubiks DIY clone and that is a valid description. There are subtle and not so subtle differences though. For example the newer Type C's have notched center peices that allow for easy cap removal and while they still fall off alot they aren't near as prone to fly off as the center caps on a Rubik's DIY. However the Rubik's DIY plastic offers a bit more potential for forgiveness and we've begrudgingly come to prefer that type over this. Still there is a ton of things you can do to improve the stats of the Type C. For starters, try switching out cores to Type A or Cube for you and set C4You springs backwards like they are on the JSK."

well I got mine at the berkley comp, because all I had before it was a storebought... go berkley people for selling me a speedcube, or I'd still be using a storebought
