3rd vid, and its still only 2 pieces out. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uelTRpUgcAs#t=180s

Do people still not realize that the "lube" on the outside is mold release from when they cast the pieces?

Expecting people to not be stupid? You should know better.

All of the information contained in these videos could have been given in about a minute. I don't get how people can ramble on for so long.

He must be rich or something. So many puzzles he has...

He has hundreds and hundreds of puzzles and he buys all of the color variations.

The really strange thing is that he can ONLY solve up to a 3x3. And his 3x3 method is extremely basic LBL with the last layer on the bottom.

He can't even solve a 4x4 yet, let alone skewbs and other puzzles.

Sometimes he is criticized about this but he answers by saying that he is a 'collector' and he likes collecting cubes for their craftsmanship. He also likes making 'pretty patterns'.

I somehow agree with him because I am a puzzle collector too but the best part of getting a new puzzle is finding out how to solve it.

Having so many puzzles and not solving them is like buying a sports car but not having a license.

Anyway, his reviews are great, he knows a lot about puzzles and he seems like a great guy.

But that's kind of ridiculous, isn't it? The whole point of twisty puzzles is that they can be scrambled and solved. I didn't buy as many as I did just so they can sit there being pretty. What this guy does is like collecting books and not knowing how to read... o_0

Besides, if he likes making pretty patterns he should also at least know how to solve the puzzles too. Back before I was interested in speedsolving I ended up learning a basic keyhole solution just so that I could get puzzles resolved again after I made patterns with them. I can't see how someone could collect for so long and not know how to solve most of the puzzles they own.

When you have a rare situation such as this that is so thorough, it means that his life is part of someone else's fate. For example, one day his great-grandson might find all of his cubes and re-introduce cubing to the 22nd century.
