Mother doesn't 'trust' Cube4you, could you guys help?

Hi guys! I really want to up my cubing game and get some new cubes from the only place that sells them, Cube4you. However, my mother (the one with the money, AND the credit card :fp) doesn't trust their credibility. I told her that transactions are made over an https page, so everything is secure, but she still didn't believe me. I then told her that the entire forum (us, well atm, you guys) buy there stuff from there all the time, and nothing bad has happened...

She still doesn't believe me, and has tried (unsuccessfully) to crossref them with other sites. I told her that the site was based in China, and so she probably wouldn't find it, and she hasn't/didn't.

Anyway, I ask if you guys could like take some pictures of the stuff you got from cube4you with a sign or something (if you want to make a video, that would be awesome, but no one will lol ) as a testimonial to c4y's validity.

Also, don't get my intentions wrong, I made this topic because I hope it will help me, yes, but other people who are having this problem with over-cautious parents.

PS: I'm almost 100% sure c4y is the only place that sells DIYs and such (besides ebay, but they are just reselling the same stuff from c4y), but if you know of another place irl that does, can you please tell me? Thanks again

PPS: I've never actually made a transaction over c4y, so do they use https, and/or are they secure?

I got my stickers and DIY cores from there without a problem. They actually threw in one more sticker set than I was expecting.

Show her some testimonials from people on this thread, then maybe she'll let you.

Maybe if even one person could take a picture with a sign saying that they got the stuff from cube4you for me please... *trying not to sound desperate*

Ask your mom to set up a Paypal account. Explain that it's a very widely trusted form of making online payments, VeriSign'd and all. Then use that to pay.

I've ordered from cube4you. I'm a regular 30 year old married guy with a mortgage and bank account and have all the same concerns she has.

I paid with Paypal, transaction went as well as expected.

Lol, same here. I also got UPS instead of EMS for EMS' price .

Just tell her you can use PayPal. And that all transactions are made through PayPal and not the site.
