V7 Cubesmith Tiles are Now Available!

I'm not an active member on twistypuzzles and I don't think everyone here is.

Not since my ban no...

on-topic: Although I'm mostly a sticker-cuber I'm curious about how good the tiles will hold onto the curved surface of the 7x7. At first when making the 7x7 they already were not sure if the stickers would like the pillowed shape of the puzzle but I can imagine with stiff stuff like tiles they would tent to get off even easier.

Just from doing a bit of reading around, it was something to do with Thom Barlow being banned for some reason, then other people put up sigs either implicitly or explicitly defending him (I've no idea). Those who did this got banned too.
That's all I'm gonna say because that's all (I think) I know.

In the end though, it almost definitely was actually to do with him being too awesome.

on-topic: good to hear, though it'll be interesting to see how it turns out given the pillowing. Perhaps they've 'pillowed' the tiles too?

The actual pieces are not pillowed, they just look that way because the puzzle is pillowed.

I'd like to see a video from anyone who gets these. I think it'd be interesting to see for those of us who are thinking about getting them or just want to see them. I think it'd be a pain to tile so I'm waiting to see if it is really worth it.

Sweet! I am going to wait and see other people's reviews, then I'll probably buy these!

I don't think it will be too big of a problem. The curving degree is very small at the V7...almost flat. So I think nothing will be noticed.

If it would be for a petaminx, then that may be a problem. :)
