Penta (5) : 2x2x2, 3x3x3, 4x4x4, 5x5x5, 3x3x3 OH. Deca (10) add: Square-1, Clock, Pyraminx, Magic. Master magic.

Rules: get a score for each event. Compare your time to the WCA rankings for the event (single times). Calculate the percentage of your score comapred to worst place. Say you ge a time comparable to place 50 of 200, then your percentage is 50/200 = 25%. A DNF or a DNS is atomaticly set to 200%

I got this at my first try:

2x2 : 8.57 = 42%
3x3 : 30.62 = 45%
4x4 : 2:09.15 = 60%
5x5 : 4:15.98 = 67%
3x OH : 1:06.31 = 67%

Pentathlon score = 281

Sq-1 : DNS = 200%
Clock : DNS = 200%
Pyraminx : 10.68 = 26%
Magic : 1.87 = 40%
Master : 4.05 = 49%

Decathlon score = 796 But I could have saved over 100 by just doing a solve for Sq-1 but I suck :P I think a really good cuber is the one who get low scores in all events. I did no warming up between events, not even for Magic. Did all in the listed order.

Anyone who will give this a try?, it was really fun to do :)

The events are choosen from the ones we do in the 3(5) form at competitions. This way it's possible to do a 3(5) for each event and compare by the averages instead. I actually came up with this from counting the 3(5) events and found they are exactly 10!, then: ten?... decathlon?... hmmm? =)

But if anyone has got proposals for a better mix of events? It's open for discussion.

6.46 - 141/607 -> 23%
17.47 - 303/2129 -> 14%
1:19.36 - 107/551 -> 19%
2:08.97 - 35/265 -> 13%
30.72 - 94/571 -> 16%

Pentathalon = 85. The 5x5 should've been faster. 4x4 wasn't too, too bad.

These are avgs.
7.93 - 93/607 -> 15%
16.54 - 92/2129 -> 4%
1:17.04 - 46/551 -> 8%
2:10.72 - 19/265 -> 7%
34.15 - 81/571 -> 14%
Total = 48

These are with official singles.
5.21 - 77/607 -> 13%
16.09 - 216/2129 -> 10%
1:12.11 - 64/551 -> 12%
1:54.52 - 15/265 -> 6%
33.78 - 133/571 -> 23%
Total = 64

Using my official times:

6.03 = 121/607 = 19.9%
17.17 = 283/2129 = 13.3%
1:15.35 = 82/551 = 14.8%
1:53.40 = 13/265 = 4.9%
50.80 = 284/571 = 49.7%
Total = 102.6 (103)

Best of 2's right now are as follows:
(9.99) 8.29 = 239/607 = 39.4%
24.87 (26.53) = 717/2129 = 33.7%
1:52.87 (2:00.94) = 252/551 = 45.7%
(2:24.97) 2:19.34 = 48/265 = 18.1%
(1:07.74) 1:06.74 = 383/571 = 67.1%
Total = 204

The times I did just now:

2x2x2: 7.81 = 35.4%
3x3x3: 16.00 = 10.1%
3x3x3 OH: 29.31 = 14.9%
4x4x4: 1:13.77 = 13.6%
5x5x5: 2:42.69 = 27.5%

Total: 101.5

Official times:

2x2x2: 8.03 = 36.4%
3x3x3: 14.71 = 6.6%
3x3x3 OH: 26.31 = 10.3%
4x4x4: 1:11.16 = 10.5%
5x5x5: 2:08.86 = 12.5%

Total: 76.3

So close to sub 100!

Kuti has officially got:

2x : 2/607 = 0% (I use rounded figures)
3x : 32/2129 = 2%
4x : 1/551 = 0%
5x : 1/265 = 0%
3xOH : 16/571 = 3%

Pentathlon score : 5

Sq-1 : 3/90 = 3%
Clock: 1/101 = 0%
Pyraminx: 5/144 = 3%
Magic : 1/293 = 0%
Master: 2/100 = 2%

Decathlon score : 13

How do you beat that?

Easy: you don't :)
