yes. Type C's and type A's are what it's about.
I've used my type C for every 3x3 event in 7 competitions, so one could say that I like it.

I've used my Rubik's DIY (2006 mold) from Roissy Open 2007 till World Championships 2007 <-- 7 competitions in total.
And then I've used another Rubik's DIY (2006 mold) from Dutch Open 2007 till Czech Open 2008 <-- again 7 competitions in total.
The rest are just done on a Rubik's DIY (2005 mold) except for Dutch Open 2008, I used a Rubik's DIY (2007 mold) at the second round.
For the Benelux Open 2009 I just borrowed Erik's hybrid No. 2 cube, because I didn't even brought a cube with me.
Mr. Rubik! Rubik! Is your cube from outer space?
ugh. I got one Rubik's DIY, and it was horrible, so I never bought another one. :/yes. Type C's and type A's are what it's about.

2. Solve cube
3. Rinse and repeat steps 1 and 2..
4 (optional). Learn some new stuff if it makes you feel better.
I mean...is there really any other way to practice to brush up and get faster?
