Learning 2-Look PLL Help

That is the way I learned them. I do them over and over, and once I can perform them without looking at them, I move away and keep performing them until I can do it every time. I only know them by finger tricks and hand motion.

One thing you could consider is learning them in pairs. Ex. do a clockwise corner rotation and then a counterclockwise one. I've found that doing that and switching between pairs of plls frequently works well.

P.S. there are some which simply do not come in pairs, but ohh well.

Edit: It's been said that revisiting something you learned is the easiest way to memorize, so don't forget to continue working the ones you've already learned.

I'd learn A and U perm first.

With those 2, you can always solve it (even though sometimes you have to do them multiple times on different cube rotations)

Then learn the inversed version of those and then go on to the other permutations

I learned them by just repeating them.
like, do one 10 times and then some solves (just looking up the algs I don't know) and then keep repeating until you know it.

Remember to repeat ones you know also or you'll forget them

I have just started learning 2-look LL and i am starting with the PLLs. I has wondering if you could tell me the best way to learn them. I have only tried just repeating the alg, yet that gets boring pretty fast

It's boring and dull to learn algorithms, now once you get the boring over and know them by muscle memory, it's fun.

I sort of went from A and U solving PLL to mostly 1 L PLL. Do the algs while doing whatever, TV, (can't really for video games) waiting in lines, in class at school, times where you wouldn't really be doing anything else.

I don't memorize the algs. I watch the F2L as I do it and pay attention to how it's broken up an put back together. You can do algorithms faster when you understand what they do.

This doesn't work for me. I just get my fingers used to the motion, then check to see what happens. Because I mirrored my anti-Sune from my Sune, I always slow down to check the F2L pair instead of just doing the alg.

But everyone does things differently...

I never learned the E-perm with my 2 look... I know it now, but all I don't know with PLL's are 3 of the G-perms, and an N-perm. I need one more OLL for 2 look OLL.
