I don't think I am allowed to give any details about the seller or the selling itself so I wont.

We're not asking for a real name or address. We're just asking if the user had paid or not, or if they've even responded to you and said that they refuse to pay. I don't believe there's any Ebay regulations against that.

but for us, he/she is anonymous.

You can look at Erik's feedback (

Yeah, I'm pretty sure it isn't. Giving away his personal information is wrong but I don't think saying he has or hasn't paid is unreasonable.

"i think that is a copy of the rubik wolrd record. but i don't now"

Really? Wow. Then why would you bid $2,025 for it? Grade-A moron. Erik doesn't deserve "neutral" feedback from someone who bid way too much for something that they really didn't even want in the first place.

Of course I don't know the whole situation though. Is someone allowed to leave feedback for a seller if they've never paid?

My experience of Ebay users with low or zero in feedback is not good. They are not trustable.

Maybe there is a way to block these users to bid before the auction starts?!

Erik,

It's sad that there's no recourse to people like this on eBay. I don't think it'd be worth your while to try to take any sort of legal action against him, it's a throw away account and it'll probably end up being some minor that you can't prosecute any way.

I'm pretty sure your recourse will be to relist. I've seen auctions that require pre-qualification of the bidders, but I've never sold anything on there, so I couldn't tell you anything about it.

I'll keep my fingers crossed that this works out, but I think I'm safe in saying I hope you have better luck next time around.

Sincerely,
e.

E-bay sent the cube before the transaction was completed? It shouldn't work that way. Erik, track that person down and I will go all stewie* on him until he forks over the money.

I'm kind of confused. Erik, did you ever receive payment (I'm guessing not)? Did you ever ship out the cube?

No and no... now I'm confused... did Erik say somewhere that he sent the cube? I don't see why he would send it without receiving payment first. There's no reason to.

No, you're right, I read through all the posts again and it makes more sense. Erik never shipped the cube and he never received payment. Hopefully that cleared up the confusion.
