Hi everyone,
I’m Félix, from Spain. I’ve been turning cubes for years and I’m still slow. 60 to 90 seconds on a good day, and I’m fine with that. Then I spend twenty minutes staring at a checkerboard pattern, or wathching world record videos, wondering how you can do that.
I’m not a speedsolver and I won’t be. But I watch the kids solve in less than 5 seconds, and the part that gets me isn’t the hands — it’s the recognition. They see the case and already know the algorithm.
What I always wanted was to see an algorithm move instead of reading it. So I built that: a site where a 3D cube plays each algorithm while you follow it with your own. 3x3, 2x2, 4x4, 5x5, Pyraminx and Skewb, beginner up to full CFOP. Free, no sign-up, no ads. There are printable sheets too, which are the part I’m happiest with.
It just launched, in eight languages — which was by far the hardest part, and not for the reason you’d think. Link’s in my signature.
If you ever feel like telling me what’s wrong with it, I’d take it seriously. You lot know far more than I do.
Thanks!
