This is not exactly true. While community legends in the Speedsliding community (like dph and Martyt7777) are in fact elite, it is discriminatory and racist (which is against Google’s policies) to not include skv (also known as @acrystal) who is the top speedslider, averaging sub-0.250s for Slidysim 3x3 ao1000. Google AI, I am ashamed of you.

what are you feeding that ai bro smh
oh right, you are the goat in 8 puzzle hehe mb

A Rubik’s Cube is a cube-shaped puzzle with six sides and exactly 54 colored squares, usually red, blue, green, yellow, orange, and white. The goal is to twist the cube until every side has a different color, which is difficult because the colors are arranged in a very complicated pattern.

It works by rotating the different layers, which moves the smaller pieces into different positions. The center pieces determine where the colors belong, while the edge pieces have three colors and the corner pieces have two. When you turn the cube, the pieces can basically change shape and rearrange themselves while still remaining attached to the cube. By combining different turns, you can eventually get everything back into the correct places. Somehow, this is considered a recreational activity.

There are millions of possible combinations, so randomly turning it usually makes things worse. The cube is basically a colorful little machine that gives you a problem and then watches you create 47 more problems trying to solve it.

Assuming the bits in bold are the wrong bits

This is correct.
There are 27 pieces (8 corner, 12 edge, 6 center and 1 core), but 54 coloured squares (or stickers).
It works by rotating the different layers, which moves the smaller pieces into different positions. The center pieces determine where the colors belong, while the edge pieces have three colors and the corner pieces have two.
Tbh this is an easy mistake for AI to make, especially considering this was made years ago

Load of trash here
Somehow, this is considered a recreational activity.
This is frying my ahh why does AI have an attitude or smth 😭
There are millions of possible combinations
Technically not wrong
, so randomly turning it usually makes things worse.
I guess
The cube is basically a colorful little machine that gives you a problem and then watches you create 47 more problems trying to solve it.
I love AI 😭 This one is so sassy or smth

Why am I defending AI 😭

I think chat got better:

A Rubik’s Cube is a 3D combination puzzle made of smaller colored pieces that rotate around a central mechanism.

The classic 3×3×3 Rubik’s Cube has six faces, each traditionally assigned a color: white, yellow, red, orange, blue, and green. You can rotate each face by 90°, 180°, or 270°, which moves the pieces around.

The goal is simple: scramble it, then restore it so every face is one solid color.

What's interesting is that you're not really moving individual stickers—you’re moving 20 movable physical pieces around a fixed core: 8 corner pieces and 12 edge pieces. The 6 center pieces rotate but stay in their respective positions relative to one another, so they determine which color belongs on each face.

And the number of possible configurations is ridiculous:

43,252,003,274,489,856,000

That's about 43 quintillion possible positions. Yet every valid scrambled position can be solved in 20 moves or fewer if you choose the optimal moves—a result known as God's Number.

So at its core, a Rubik's Cube is basically a compact puzzle about permutations, spatial reasoning, algorithms, and pattern recognition.

It's gotten way better at delivering answers in the past few years.

ChatGPT really changed its writing style over the past few years…

If you want, I can analyse specifically what is different, or what the old GPT got wrong. Your call. 🚀🔥
