Day 1 MAC:
Clock didn’t go well best single was an 11 and average was
OH went well, got double PR
Squan went mostly well, got a 26 single but also a whole delegate mess I’ll talk about later
(I also judged @BVCuber13 in squan and I don’t think he realized)
omg no I did not realize lmao 🤣 I think you judged me twice and I still didn’t realize 😭

Day 2 MAC:
Solid 3x3 avg that made it to round 2
Unfortunately missed 4x4 cutoff
PR average in 2x2 that just barely made it to round 2
Missed pyraminx PR average by 0.02 but safely made it to round 2
Skewb
"Skewb" 😭
I also hate Skewb lol
also it was nice actually meeting you today!

Day 3 MAC (sorry I forgot yesterday):
Pretty good 3x3 avg
Dumbest PR average ever in Pyraminx (PR by 0.01, two 6s and a 10 counting)
Great 2x2 avg (almost sub 4)

started the yau grind
Yau will help a lot - I am super lucky to have never even learnt Redux in the first place as I used JPerm's tutorial for 4x4 and 5x5 and use the exact same method for 6 and 7.

It's great because you don't need to constantly flip the cube during edges, and there is no need to stop and choose a cross and plan it on the go, which is even more helpful on 6x6 and 7x7.

Also when your starts are fast then you just feel soooo good going into centers, it's crazy how much it boosts your confidence (is this just me though?)

The hardest part is Yau cross edges after F2C, so a good drill to do is just scramble the cube and solve until all 3 edges are done, rescramble, and repeat. It's the sole reason why I got from 2:00-1:45 on 5x5 in the beginning and from 57(?)-50 really fast on 4x4 too.

Honestly I don't know why everyone seems to learn Redux as their first big cube method these days, I'm genuinely curious as I always used a JPerm tutorial for whatever new cube I was learning and thought, "Why doesn't everybody else just see that one first and use it??"

anyway, good luck with learning Yau!
