So it should be MU IV BN EC JQ OD KR WT F, I think with you being confused about white centers threw everything off. Hope this helps!

You do not need the second D, because you already solved that target with DS. It does work in terms of solving the cube, because you just solve D again with a different white piece. In this case it would not really matter because you have parity and the D fixed that, but a more reliable and intuitive way of dealing with parity is just adding a B/C/D at the end of memo (so TG TB instead of DT GT). This way you only add the extra letter when necessary.L' F2 U2 R D2 R D2 R2 U2 R' F2 D2 F U B' D' B' L2 F' D' L' Rw2 B U Uw2 F' R2 Fw2 D B' U F2 U Rw B2 U' D L2 F Fw L' Uw B R2 Rw' Uw2
In this scramble, there's 3 pieces solved, and there's 1 new cycle.
The equation [24 - 1 - (3) + (1)] = 21, but I have 22 letters...
UI QJ EM KN BP CV DS FW LX DT GT
Just so I can be sure, when I finish the first cycle do I do D? Then I would go to T and do G and then go back to T right??? I did exactly this and it worked perfectly but it doesn't make sense with the equation, so a clarification would be very helpful!
Apart from this, I'm feeling quite confident in my ability to get the correct memo for both wings and centers and I have memorised all the algorithms that I need (btw when I say memo I mean writing it down on paper, I can't remember this many letters for such a long period of time yet!!!).
Tomorrow I'm gonna start doing memo for a fully scrambled cube, and I think it's gonna take a lot of attempts to get confident with that...

Thanks bro! I saw that you were super fast in the weekly comp with 2:30 or something if I remember correctly? That's INSANE!Woah nice yo!!!!
Sure happy to help. I have the current NR in my country for 4blind.Thanks bro! I saw that you were super fast in the weekly comp with 2:30 or something if I remember correctly? That's INSANE!
If you don't mind could you give me some tips on how to practice 4BLD? What I'm doing right now is just centers/edges separately on a fully scrambled cube. My memo time was a bit over 21 minutes, so my exec was maybe 8:50 for the whole cube.
I think right now the only thing I need to do is practice those things more, but any little bit of advice would be very appreciated.

To anybody who can see this thread (I have no clue how many people can see it so I'm guessing 1 which includes me lol), happy new year!
I have now been cubing for a whole year, and it's been such a great hobby, especially seeing as I'm just getting started. But you know what that means......
My Cubing Goals for 2026
I currently own all WCA puzzles except for a square-1, so I will make goals for all the WCA events that I own.
2x2: Not a lot - mainly focusing on other cubes, but it would be nice to learn CLL because I've already learnt and forgotten half of it twice now 0_0. Once I learn that, I would aim for sub-3.5
3x3: Realistically sub-12, but I want to aim a little higher for that sub-10 (at home), and a 10-11 second average in comp this year (again, it just depends how my nerves are and also whether I end up focusing on other things as well or not)
4x4: It would be awesome to average sub-40 by the end of the year, but realistically I think around 40-42 will be what I'll end up at. A sub-40 single in comp would be cool though
5x5: Sub-1:20 would be a really nice goal for 5x5 this year, my PB single is 1:29.9 right now but I think if I started practising it properly again, I could definitely get at least a sub 1:30 average in comp this year.
6x6: I don't really know what to expect in terms of progression (because I might practise it more or less than what I initially expect and because I'm still pretty trash right now and the learning curve would be very nice and steep), but easily sub-3:00 by the end of the year, especially once my 6x6 is broken in properly through practise, and if I decide to practise a lot maybe sub-2:45 or something like that.
7x7: Again, just guessing, but I'll be at least sub-5:00, and if I want to practise this event I would want to get around the 4:00 mark probably
Megaminx: A good global would be sub-1:40, because with that I could make it under any cutoff in Australia for this event!
Skewb: Um.... maybe do a little bit of practise? Sub-10 I guess
Pyraminx: Again, I don't really like side events, but I might practise this for sub-7 or something.
3x3 OH: I might get into this event as it's an interesting version of 3x3, and I might aim for sub-22 or if I grind this then sub-20
3x3 BLD: Hmmmmmmm.... well, my father said that if I manage to get a success in my blindfolded comp in March this year, I can choose any smartcube I want from TheCubicle!!! So, I guess an official success, maybe around 3:00?
Clock: I prefer to pretend I don't have a clock
but I guess that because it isn't WCA legal.......
yeah I'm not practising clock
Bye bye!
