The cases ZBLL with block 1x1x3 are 12.
If you create cross and block 1x1x3 when you solve Last Pair F2L?
How many Algs to learn for solve block 1x1x3 and cross Yellow when you solve Last Pair F2L?
I can’t find the alg number for solving 1x1x3 block and yellow cross when solving the last F2L pair.

But, I was able to find the alg number of solving last F2L pair and 1x1x3 block when yellow cross is already solved. It is 4451. So I assume that solving Last pair + cross + 1x1x3 is much higher, so I don’t think this method is viable sorry

Dont worry thanks for information.
When ZB for now Is Better.

And Number for solve block 1x1x3 and last Pair?

Okay so far the team (Or people who have shown interest in working on this) include @CrossPetrus @speedsolvetheory @-Cube Kid- @Martyt7777 @Michael Wimberly @Caleb Valenzuela @Jared Burkhart.
This leads me to my next question what do we want to work on I have some ideas if you have any other ideas I would love to hear them. We could do:
Zbll optimization
APB development
CFOP Variation
New Method
(Just some ideas that were mentioned)
i also wanna help out any way i can

Cases for create cross Yellow when you solve Last Pair how many Algs? I want know many Algs forse solve Last Pair and block 1x1x3 contemporanely. The cases 1LLL Line with block 1x1x3 are 71.

Isn’t that ZBLS?
Yes when you solve Last Pair you find a block 1x1x3 Just solved. No cross Yellow in that. How May algs for solve Last Pair and cross Yellow (ZBLS)? How many Algs to solve Last Pair and Block 1x1x3(PLS Platform Last Slot)?
I think Better this because After you find only 71 cases to solve LL.
For AI Around 60–120 total PLS cases
Possibly around 30–50 core algorithms if mirrors and inverses are grouped together.

I’m getting 17909. I’m not confident in this number since I feel it’s too high for an algset like this so maybe I’ll ask @CrossPetrus

Yo guys I've seen this thread a couple of times but haven't ever looked on it before and..... well..... could you please explain what's been happening with the method recently?

It's an interesting concept, but I personally couldn't bring myself to read 17 pages of what's probably discord-chatroom-style messages lol

only a bit of progress so far has happened, we are trying to compare 20 methods with eachother as of now
however rn method explanation is only happening

Best method we made is orcora petrus the other ones are kinda bad

Could you give a quick rundown of how it works?
Since the Petrus wasnt very efficient because of the big block building and difficult EO, the method went from being one of the most popular methods, to being used by barely anyone.
And as of now, there are better variants of Petrus like APB and OP.

Here is how it works. You make 2 opposite 1x2x2 blocks. Then, you do EO, which is easier as the missing edge helps it becoming more flexible and has less moves. After EO, insert the LD edge and the second step is done. Then you would do the last white edge and back pair in one step intuitively. Then, you could do VLS->PLL, or ZBLS->ZBLL. Here is an example with the scramble "B D2 L D2 L' D2 R B2 D2 L2 F L2 R D R' U F2 D L2":

x2 // Inspection
B' U2 F U F R' U F' L2 B' U' B2 U2 B L' U2 L y// First two 1x2x2 Blocks
S R' U2 S'// EO + LD Edge
U R' U R U2 R' U' R // 3rd 1x2x2 Block
R U' R' // Make Pair
U2 R2 D R' U2 R D' R2 // VLS
y2 F R U' R' U' R U R' F' R U R' U' R' F R F' // PLL

I’m gonna make a little critique
1. 1x2x2 block
It’s alright I guess, the rotation after is a bit meh but I think it’s ok. Might as well just do 1x2x3 into DFDB imo but it makes up for it with EO+DL edge. So basically, this is only reasonable because of the second step
2. EO + DL edge
Can’t say too much about this step because, well, idk how many algs there are, plus I don’t know if they’re even that ergonomic (probably a lot of S moves). But assuming the algs are good (and not like 200 algs), I think this is the “best” step of the method because it does more in one step than every other step in this method.
3. BR 1x2x2 Block (I’ll call it BR122B which sounds like a color code lol)
It’s pretty self-explanatory, same thing happens when you do APB without the BR Pair. It’s literally just solving DR edge+BR pair.
4. LL
idk why you said “ZBLS->ZBLL” because since EO is already solved, ZBLS isn’t needed lol. You can just do FR pair + ZBLL, which imo is better than VLS->PLL

overall rating: 6.5/10
I think you glazed it a bit with “inspection depth” in the sheet, because the furthest any average person is planning is planning up to is DR edge, and I can’t even say that for sure because I don’t know if the algs for EO+DL edge is short enough to plan further from.

Yo @Caleb Valenzuela, thanks for your (honest) response on my method :D.

Yeah you are right, but that is just the worst step overall IMO. Credits to @Michael Wimberly for the idea BTW, but maybe if you practice inspection alot (F2L-2), you'll get a hang of it.

Its very easy and has very few moves. Technically, there's 127 cases, and we can set them up into a position where we can do an alg (there's 20 algs atmost). And the LD edge can be inserted in atleast 3-4 moves, so IG theres no reason to put it as a whole step
3. BR 1x2x2 Block (I’ll call it BR122B which sounds like a color code lol)

Yeah you are right, theres nothing to explain about it.

Yeah IK I said ZBLS, but its only ZBLS if it uses R & U moves

Also, I have been working on some advanced versions:

1. LD EO F2L Insert (LEFI)
The idea is simple. In the first step, you insert the last pair and edge orient the LD edge in one alg.
With 4 cases, I guess there will be 8 algs. And it reduces EO into 63 cases and removes 8EO.

2. Edge Slice Insert (ESI)
This one is like L6E in Roux, but with S & R moves, less edges to deal with, and less cases.
This works if the LD and RD edges are in the S-Slice. ESI permutes those edges with R, U & S moves. There is only 11 algs

3. Numann Block (Skip if you prefer ZB)
A numann block is a 123+OLL block when you have 223+EO.
Before it was "RD->BR Pair->Make Pair->WV->PLL".
Now it's "FR Pair->Make into F2L 1/4->WV/SV->PLL" (or) "BR Pair->Make into F2L 2/3->LWV/LSV->PLL"
All algs for WV+SV+LWV+LSV is 108.
