The Orcuber's Hunt For The Best 3x3 Method

Do you think this is a good idea? Or are the methods out there good enough?

Wait okay can you go over what the full method is, I’m getting lost in the updates.
X-Cross -1edge: (LEAVE THIS) (solve right, back, and left white edges)(solve back left pair)
Solve 2nd pair with EO: (DO THIS) (with back right pair)
Solve Last White Edge & 3rd Pair: (DO THIS IF YOU CHOSE THIS OPTION)(with front white edge and front right pair)
WV: (LEAVE THIS)
PLL: (LEAVE THIS)

… I’m getting 5,951 algs for second pair and eo. I think we might need to change something. Maybe we make the pair and insert it while doing eo?
Just curious, how many algs are there for doing last pair with EO? I just want to know if there should be an algset for this or if I should leave this step as it is, doing EO and just pairing up the last pair without solving it.

Wait where does sbt come into play? Also do you still want 2nd pair + eo as make the pair intuitively and then insert it while doing eo, or something else? Also this seems like a weird block-in-the-back petrus that’s algorithmitized weirdly.

could you remind me of your method again?
Step 1: Block-building

So for this step you're gonna do all of F2L without the last pair using block building for a lower move count.
Here's an easy way to think about it:
1. Make a 1x2x2 block oriented to the correct centers.
2. Expand that into a 2x2x2 block by adding an edge piece.
3. Expand the 2x2x2 block into a 2x2x3 block.
4. Add 1 more f2l pair and then add the last cross piece to finish this step.

Step 2: EO-Pair

In this step, you do EO and pair up the last f2l pair. This can be done intuitively. The F2L pair doesn't need to be solved into its slot.

Step 3: Winter Variation

This step is quite simple, you just do winter variation for the last pair and OLL.

Step 4: PLL

This step is also quite self-explanatory, just do PLL to finish off the solve.

Step 2: EO-Pair

In this step, you do EO while simultaneously pairing up the last f2l pair. This can be done intuitively though it's quite difficult so I might make an algset in the future if this method gains enough traction. The F2L pair doesn't need to be solved into its slot.

but id think that zbls+zbll is worse than wv+pll

I have a method idea. I’ll name it HF-O “Hexagonal Francisco (Orcuber variant)”

1. Build a 223 block
2. Solve PAE (pair and edge). PAE is solving the FR pair and the BR edge at the same time. (algorithmic)
3. Rotate so the 223 block is at the back, then for the rest of the first 2 layers and orient the edges at the same time (HFOLS, algorithmic, ~305 algs)
4. ZBLL (algorithmic, ~493 algs)
