But any piece that is on the yellow side intersects with the other sides. Do all the pieces have to be on the same non-yellow side?yes, but it is also on the green side

Wait okay can you go over what the full method is, I’m getting lost in the updates.EO was done in the second step already
There is only 2 sides we care abt, the yellow side and the non-yellow side. So all pieces have to be in the non-yellow side. But any piece that is on the yellow side intersects with the other sides. Do all the pieces have to be on the same non-yellow side?
X-Cross -1edge: (LEAVE THIS) (solve right, back, and left white edges)(solve back left pair)Wait okay can you go over what the full method is, I’m getting lost in the updates.
Just curious, how many algs are there for doing last pair with EO? I just want to know if there should be an algset for this or if I should leave this step as it is, doing EO and just pairing up the last pair without solving it.… I’m getting 5,951 algs for second pair and eo. I think we might need to change something. Maybe we make the pair and insert it while doing eo?
Unfortunately I have experienced that beforewe have to double check on the wiki if the method were making already exists (trust me, it hurts when you spend so much time developing a method only to find out it already exists)
Do you mean like zbls? That’s 302 algs.Just curious, how many algs are there for doing last pair with EO? I just want to know if there should be an algset for this or if I should leave this step as it is, doing EO and just pairing up the last pair without solving it.
Wait where does sbt come into play? Also do you still want 2nd pair + eo as make the pair intuitively and then insert it while doing eo, or something else? Also this seems like a weird block-in-the-back petrus that’s algorithmitized weirdly.X-Cross -1edge: (LEAVE THIS) (solve right, back, and left white edges)(solve back left pair)
Solve 2nd pair with EO: (DO THIS) (with back right pair)
Solve Last White Edge & 3rd Pair: (DO THIS IF YOU CHOSE THIS OPTION)(with front white edge and front right pair)
WV: (LEAVE THIS)
PLL: (LEAVE THIS)
SBT comes to play in the third stepWait where does sbt come into play?
yeahAlso do you still want 2nd pair + eo as make the pair intuitively and then insert it while doing eo, or something else?
its okAlso this seems like a weird block-in-the-back petrus that’s algorithmitized weirdly.
Yes, that's what I meant. I guess that's too many algs. (I've never heard of zbls I had to look it up)Do you mean like zbls? That’s 302 algs.
how would ZBLS even show upYes, that's what I meant. I guess that's too many algs. (I've never heard of zbls I had to look it up)
Because in my method you solve all of f2l without the last pairhow would ZBLS even show up
could you remind me of your method again?Because in my method you solve all of f2l without the last pair
Step 1: Block-buildingcould you remind me of your method again?
but id think that zbls+zbll is worse than wv+pllStep 1: Block-building
So for this step you're gonna do all of F2L without the last pair using block building for a lower move count.
Here's an easy way to think about it:
1. Make a 1x2x2 block oriented to the correct centers.
2. Expand that into a 2x2x2 block by adding an edge piece.
3. Expand the 2x2x2 block into a 2x2x3 block.
4. Add 1 more f2l pair and then add the last cross piece to finish this step.
Step 2: EO-Pair
In this step, you do EO while simultaneously pairing up the last f2l pair. This can be done intuitively though it's quite difficult so I might make an algset in the future if this method gains enough traction. The F2L pair doesn't need to be solved into its slot.
Step 3: Winter Variation
This step is quite simple, you just do winter variation for the last pair and OLL.
Step 4: PLL
This step is also quite self-explanatory, just do PLL to finish off the solve.
Yeah that's why I'm not doing zbls+zbllbut id think that zbls+zbll is worse than wv+pll
I like that would everyone be fine with that?the orcubers
K #ORCUBERSI like that would everyone be fine with that?
