I 100% think Alan should return the money. Only thing i am confused about on qiyi's end is why they were unable to pay the other two designers. I don't see why they let their mistake hurt the other designers. I guess that was an extreme amount of money?

I don't see how it could possibly be anything crazy, QiYi must produce millions of cubes every year and I can't imagine this was for one of their 3x3s, probably some non-WCA puzzle they produced like 20000 of at 20p ($0.25) commission or something like that so it shouldn't be a crazy amount for a big cube manufacturer
