This is the case.

Cross (White bottom) and the first F2L (DRB & RB) are completed.

I can guess that the Green-Orange edge piece is in LB, and also the Green-Orange-White corner piece is in DLB.
(Corrected as follows on 15-Nov-2025)
While solving the first F2L, I could trace that the Green-Orange edge piece was in LB, and Green-Orange-White corner piece was in DLB.

But, I can not guess at which direction the white face of that corner piece is looking, down, back, or left?

I am sure there is a theory to know it, because it is impossible one corner piece is twisted if all others are oriented.

Superman said to me, “I can guess it easily by my X-ray eyes, but I don’t know the theory.”

Can anyone guess it and also tell me how to get to know it?

You can't actually know that that is where green-orange and green-orange-white are. Not without extra info, at least. However, if you assume this is indeed where green-orange-white is, then UBL must be yellow-orange-blue and DFL must be green-yellow-red. For each of the 7 known corners, count how many clockwise twists it need to be oriented and add all modulo 3. The result is 1. Therefore the corner in DBL needs 2 (so that 1+2=0) clockwise twists, so white points to the back.

Thank you for pointing out my error in my post. I corrected it today.

And also Thank you for sharing your knowledge with me.

I tried by myself what you explained, and got the following results.

UFR 1, URB 0, UBL 2, UFL 2, DFR 2, DRB 0, DFL 2 twists.
The total is 9, and 9 MOD 3 = 0

Therefore the corner in DBL needs 0 clockwise twists, so its white face points to the bottom.

And actually that was so originally.

Mission completed!

What an amazing!
This is really eye-opening for me.

I think one of the good things in the world is that someone always has a good spirit to help others without return.

They say a picture says more than thousand words. I say a simulator says more than thousand pictures.

Based on your picture, this is what I see:

.

Therefore, the white sticker of the DLB corner is facing down.

Thought process was following:
  1. Figure out what is the B sticker of the URB corner
  2. Figure out where is where is the red sticker on the DLF corner (excercise for you: how did I know I was looking for red sticker rather than orange sticker?)
  3. Figure out where is the orange sticker on the DLB corner, thus determining where is its white sticker

Figure out where is where is the red sticker on the DLF corner (excercise for you: how did I know I was looking for red sticker rather than orange sticker?)

First of all, all 4 white-stickered corners are located.
DFR is obviously Yellow-Blue-Red.
Then, UBR is obviously Yellow-Green-Orange.
Then, UBL cannot be Yellow-Green-Orange again, so it should be Yellow-Orange-Blue.
There should be no more Yellow-Orange corners.

(Corrected on 16-Nov-2025)
UBR is obviously Yellow-Green-Orange.
As DFL has Green, the only Yellow-Green option left is Yellow-Green-Red.
That is why you looked for Red.

Still I have a homework to understand what your 2x2 cube picture means. Please wait a bit. (Please don’t send me the answer yet.)

Alternatively, treat opposite colors as the same color (ask if you don't know why you can do that). If treating yellow as white, you should get:

Thought process:
  1. Figure out where are white stickers on ULB and DLF corners, thus determining where is the white sticker on the DLB corner

Now I think I have understood what to do, based on your picture and the explanation given by Jorian.

1. Figure out where the Yellow and White stickers are for each corner, except questioned DLB. I could figure it out on ULB and DLF corners.

2. Count how many clockwise twists it need to be oriented, and add all modulo 3. In this case, to be oriented means that the white face (= Yellow or White stickers) is looking up or down.

3. Calculate how many CW twist is necessary on DLB, by 3 - above result.

Am I correct?

Thanks.
I have done both things (rotate the cube by the simulator, and proved that I got the correct answer).

Also, thanks for your sharing the code of the simulator. I will use it in the future.
