How does 2 events at the same time in a wca comp work?

No the 2 events are cutoff and they are literally at the same time

Could be multiple groups.

For example, you could be group 1 for 6x6 and group 2 for 7x7

Usually that means there are separate areas for 6x6x6 and 7x7x7, and they run them at the same time. They will probably try to schedule it so your personal competition times will not overlap, using groups like is mentioned above. It shouldn't be a problem.

Actually, looking at the competition page, and seeing you're in group 1 for both, maybe since they are using stationary seating, maybe they will bring you both back-to-back. I'm sure they will explain it to you at some point.
