Moving to a dif method or not?

As far as I know, it's usually edge orientation (1-2 algs), corner orientation (7 algs), edge permutation (1-4 algs), corner permutation (1-3 algs).

edge orientation (2/3 algs), corner orientation (7 algs), corner permutation (2 algs), edge permutation (4 algs) is the most common order

Right now when i'm done with F2L (using the very slow method, trying to improve on my Fridrich intuitive f2l) I only need a couple of algs to finish up, first I orientate the edges (1 alg), then I put the corners in the right positions (1 alg, slow), then I orient them (1 alg, VERY slow ;) Layer by layer method, yup >>)

So I guess learning that 4step LL method would be better, but where may I find the algs for that? The search button is beigna wefully picky about it's friends.

Righto, thanks. How many seconds would that save compared to the standard ll of layer by layer (orientate edges, permutate edges, permute corners, orientate corners)?

I just tried to practice some ll's with those algs, but how the hell od you recognize them, for example:

2-5, 2 corners, Front) R' F' L F R F' L' F
2-6, 2 corners, Left) R' F' L' F R F' L F
2-7, 2 corners, Back) R2 D' R U2 R' D R U2 R

I had 2 corners oriented, diagonally from eachother, then after some of them algs I had 2 oriented on 1 side, and 2 weren't on the other side, and it still took me several of those algs to orient them as they didn't seem to have any effect.

Any examples of when to use what algs by any chance?

O arnaud, I forgot to say that I was avging around 35 without Fridrich LL. I was using, orient edges, permute edges, permute corners, orient corners. Except for the orienting corners, It ended up being pretty fast. So I was doing that well, without any knowledge of Fridrich at all. That's what I meant by using the real beginners method.
