so you really dont care about that it's very similar to yours? but it's your method...
the method I developed is already well documented in the forum from april 2023, also notice that Dukan Kimmet made a very similar method 4 months before me without me even noticing it.

also is not like we are owners of the method, we developed the ideas indepedently but many people may have had those ideas and we don't even know

glad we settled on that, well...

Don't see anything wrong with it, I mean it's the cubing community, besides, I think the importance of it is to have fun with these things, it doesn't matter what's what, as long we are having a good time, we can all be good to go, also a lot of methods are similar in some way or another, so maybe we don't need to look on the similarities of a method, or label it, maybe just know that they put effort into it, and that they might've cared enough to try to do so. maybe that's the thing I'm missing on things, maybe in others too, at least, as long as this makes sense...

That's literally FT method

That’s literally eo-not solved Iacob Method

one case to solve parity, which is M2 U2 M2, if you use this alg you reduce the alg count by a lot.

M2 U2 M2

Try to solve the above case in your cube by just using pll algs on both layers.

You Cant Dragons Den GIF by CBC

then you're left with Permute Both Layer Corners (BCP) and Permute Both Layer Edges (BEP) so you can solve the PBL (Permute both layers) with 2 steps minus parity.
I have genned BEP/EP2L before, it isn’t the best in terms of ergo. But 49 cases and 8.6 move average.

Some useful algs for PBL:

Edit: Forgot about this one:

Ok, so after the failure of 3x3 PBL method DMPM/Fortego... I thought to myself... 3x3 PBL exists and 2x2 PBL exists... people sometimes do it or think about it but who does 4x4 PBL? or even think about it? so I decided to add DMPM/Fortego into 4x4, also changed the name to DevMag b/c I wasn't able to think of another name. So, it's basically the pairing in Yau and added PBL to 4x4 instead of doing CFOP, so...

DevMag
Face Pairing
Edge Pairing
First Face
Middle Layer
OLL
PBL
Parity

Parity still exists so tbh, just going to leave it alone, just fyi, this isn't a speedsolving method
what do you guys think?

You’re saying upfront that it’s not a particularly good method, so there’s really not that much to say about it

well, I'm saying that because I'm assuming it isn't so yeah... of course there isn't going to be much... I'm not really sure why I said what I said in the last line anyway... but if it's actually more than what I think it is, then well idk... cool I guess...

what is the benefit of using a less efficient method?

and what's the benefit of trying to be better than anyone speedcubing wise? there isn't. (in other words, im saying it doesn't matter if there is or not)

(not everyone is like that thou)

Also, I was bored alright?

NUH UH!!! I meant you can add the colors on the hidden pieces on the 2x2, since that alot of designs use the same mechanism to make the 3x3, so by hiding the edge pieces, using the enlarged corner pieces, that's how they do it... so therefore, you can add color to those pieces, and make it a 2x2 with a "secret twist"

With the secret twist being that it's just a 3x3 lol
