[WR] 2.38 clock WR single by Carter

The date of the wr is the first day of the comp. Carter's record was on a May 18 comp but Eryk's record was on a May 17-19 comp so only Eryk's record would count
It is still NAR though
Where did you get that from? Because that's not true. The date of any attempt is considered to be the last day of the round, not the first day of the competition.

Edit: I just saw this was already pointed out to you in the other thread where you posted this, so forget this post. Although it's interesting how people just confidently claim things repeatedly without checking whether they are true.

I thought so, too.
But .... Eryk's comp results are already posted and his WR is listed as May 17, which was Friday, the first day of a 3 day comp. The first round of Clock, when he actually got the WR, occurred on Sunday, May 19.
Carter's comp was a one day only comp, Saturday, May 18.
With Eryk's WR listed as a day earlier, on the 17th, how is Carter's going to even be posted for the 18th? A slower time can't be posted a day later.
Unless they change the date on Eryk's WR to when it actually happened, on the 19th.

I'm not entirely sure, but I believe the date it says under 'date circa' is always the first day of the competition, and not necessarily the same as the date that the attempt is considered to have taken place (hence the circa), the latter only being used to determine whether something counts as a record or not. I suspect the first day of the competition is used under 'date circa' because it's considerably easier to code, since the specific schedule of the competition doesn't need to be accessed.
