Since all the new Cube4You 3x3's have come out, I'd guess that the old forums aren't valid anymore. I was planning on buying a few of them and trying them out, but I decided it would be best if I asked the forum about this. What 3x3 would you recommend? I'm looking for a white one, and I haven't tried out all the 3x3 types yet. Thanks.

The YUGA is the old type D. The one with good screws (and springs? I'm not sure if these are different or not). It's not like the Type D on C4Y, it's a lot better.

this is what's special about a YUGA (or so i've heard):
rather than having [washer/spring/washer] on the screw, all separate, like most DIYs, the YUGA has all three in one bulk on the middle of the screw.
also, the YUGA is much tighter than other DIYs, in order to prevent popping. however, it still turns and corner-cuts like a dream.
comprehensive review of the YUGA

HOORAY! MY FIFTIETH POST!!!

Right. As long as it's a type D, it will lock up if you aren't precise. For tolerance, go to type A or type F.

As far as I know the best 3x3s out there are: JSK, Rubik's DIY, C4U, and Edison
