My first cube with UV coating was the V9 ballcore and to be completely honest, I am not a massive fan of it. Its not bad but I just dont get why people would spend more for it. And I wouldnt say it improves grip that much either (if anything, I found it slighlty harder to grip when my hands were sweaty or not warmed up).

The one good thing I can say though is that it looks amazing

Its better than frosted plastic by a long shot, but compared to glossy plastic, it’s not as good.
