SpeedSolving Minecraft SMP - Discussion Thread

[ProStar]

This is a thread for discussing the new Minecraft SMP I'm creating for SpeedSolving members. There is a discord, but since not everyone has it, announcements and discussion can also take place here.

The Java Edition SMP is hosted on Hypixel, is completely vanilla, and has no major rules.

IMPORTANT
1. If you want to join the server, send me a DM. It'll probably officially start on March 2 (this Saturday).
2. You need to have your SMP invite settings ON in Hypixel. I believe you can access these by running "/privacy" in a Hypixel lobby.

One question, I know you said completely vanilla, but if I install a mod to increase fps is that allowed? My pc is somehow laggy for Minecraft.

Yeah, any client side mods you wanna install is fine, as long as they aren’t cheats/exploits and follow Hypixel’s rules. I personally use the Fabulously Optimized mod pack to improve performance.

Yeah I like to use Fabric+Sodium and other performance mods a lot. They are quite a bit better than Optifine.
And if you do go the route of installing sodium, I'd recommend getting Reeses' Sodium options and Extra Sodium Options, so that you can get rid of fog lol.
Also Gamma Utils Poggers
