Sebastian Lee WR Fail Because of Misscrambles

Sebastian Lee got a 1.34 avg but it became 1.51 due to 4th solve being misscrambled by a tip.

this is insane and also heartbreaking. He would have absolutely obliterated the record but didnt because of a freaking tip.

A lot of people are saying it may be the cover's fault, as the comp used a larger box than standard that allows the tips to move apparently. either way, scrambler's or box fault, terrible experience for sebastian.

yeah a similar thing happened in nz nationals for nr pyra single where the just the tips where off

well it does effect the solve quite a bit but I see your point

Yeah but the tip orientation makes a huge difference

To prevent this I think the WCA should use cone-shaped covers, that way tips cannot be moved.
