I just relubricated my Pyraminx (Weilong Standard) with stardust lube but when I started to break it in, it got super slow. I had to put in so much effort to the tips it was almost as bad as the Rubik's Pyraminx. However, when I relubed it with my lunar, it started to turn fast again. Has anyone had any other experiences like this or have any ideas why it happened? Maybe the lube expired???

EDIT: The lunar didn't make the tips turn faster, just the rest of the cube

It depends on how long you have had the bottle. I would assume that the lubricant doesn't necessarily expire, but if you have had it for more than a year that could affect it.

Yeah I've had the stardust bottle for a little over a year now and I could see that the edges of it were a outlined in pink lube that was almost solid.

make sure you give the bottle a good shake before use, and keep it out of the sun during storage. also make sure that you lube your puzzle as you could just be adding to the build up.

its either you overlubed by accident in some sort or based on where you live the temperature could of made it slightly solid i do suggest buying stardust in small bottles like 5ml or 10ml at max just be careful where you put the stardust!
