I don’t know how to say it but I don’t get how corners then edges are faster. To me, it would seem more painful to line up the corners, solve them, then have to recognize and permute the edges. There are 8 ways to do edges. I bet you could just look up full PLL alg spreadsheets and find the thing there. But that’s tougher and you have to learn those 8 algs, which are pretty easy to put into muscle memory but the recog is tough for 4 of the cases.
I would recommend instead to do edges then corners since I believe you can use less algorithms for that and it makes solving it easier. If you do end up at some point in the future learning full PLL for mega (which you really only start for sub 50 but even isn’t needed at that point. It makes it easier tho) then edges before corners makes that switch easier since at that point you would have learnt 4LLL and even then have gotten used to doing edges then corners.
Basically, what I’m saying is that if you do corners/edges instead of edges/corners, I’m pretty sure it makes it harder to learn. It doable, but tougher. And it makes it harder to learn mega PLL since the alg progression makes sense if you have learned to do edges before corner.
