When I was seven I was looking at my Rubik’s “Mini” thinking that I wasn’t going to cheat with a tutorial. I was very happy when I solved 3 sides.

Jokes aside this is so insane and congrats to Teodor Zajder for crushing the world record and blowing away the old Polish NR..

Just one night, it was a four-mile hike (I almost died by falling off a cliff but a Boy Scouts dad saved me). Bear Canyon is dangerous.

To make it that little bit harder. I don't see it getting changed but if it does, I think it would be to increase the minimum.

I imagine it’d be quite difficult to justify this rule change. You’d either have to wipe the records or just accept the fact that the 2x2 single record may never be broken again (or if it is, it would be far more difficult and unlikely). Having different records on uneven playing fields just doesn’t seem right to me

Why make it harder? If a puzzle has a low enough puzzle states that 3 movers are not out of the realm of possibility, why disallow them?

To be fair, I think Zayn has a .42 on a 7 mover in the weekly comp, but ti is still difficult to pull something like this off, especially with nerves.
