How does maglev work?

Ok I have a moyu rs3m 2021 and I was wondering how to set up the maglev. Do I take the centre out or use the adjust plastic thing. Also my white side turns really well and I don't know if it's because of maglev or the lube I put in

Maglev doesn't require "setup" just treat as you would a spring system. there is no need for lube in the center itself since the maglev is already so low friction. if only one side of your cube is turning well, I suggest you make sure all of your tensions are equal on all sides. Feeling lube on only one side means you need to break it in with a bunch of random turns in order to equally distribute the grease. Remember, adding more lube isn't always the solution, finding your tensions is key, as they are what makes your cube unique to your solving style.

the rs3m 2021 should already have maglev, the blue plastic thing is the dual adjustment system and it compesses the cube (make sure all of them are at the same setting) and also im not sure if your supposed to put lube

Yeah thats the blue or puple plasric thing mayhe try to put compression at 0 (make the plastic drop) and see if one still feels more magnetic
