I have had the YS3M for a while now, and it has been a fantastic cube, but just today I noticed that one of the corner to core magnets has fallen out and it just loose in the core.
I still have it, so could I just glue it back in, or is there something else to do? Any help would be appreciated.

make sure you have it oriented correctly so the side of the loose magnet that attracts to the Ball-core is facing toward the core when you glue it back in

one kinda easy way would be to take out a 2nd corner from the cube and make sure the loose magnet is repelling the magnet in the foot of the 2nd corner
that way you know its right

Thanks for the tip, I was able to get it back in and I think it should be back to normal now. Hopefully this won't be a common issue in the future.

side note: if you take a notion...

I have the Maglev WRM 2021 and the YS3M BC, and they both have the same torpedoes in the edges...
there is almost exactly the right size hole in the bottom of the edge feet to fit a 4×2mm disc magnet (fit fairly tight, one drip of super-glue is all it'd take, I recommend n35 or n42) for doing edge-repelling magnets...

I did that to my Maglev WRM, and and it has a BC but no corner-feet magnets, even tho it doesn't have core-corner magnets, I can feel those edge-feet magnets helping line up the corners quite nicely

now looking around to see if I have any more 4×2mm's laying around here for the YS3M lol

That is an interesting idea, I will look into it and see if it is something I would want to do.

apart from helping to align the sides, another upside (overall) with core-corner magnets and edge-repelling magnets is that they give the cube more stability which to me is a plus since I can loosen the tensions a bit more so the cube has as much speed as I want 🧐☑️😎

I just installed the repelling edges magnets into my YS3M and it is already feeling more controllable than before. I did mess up one edge by putting the magnet in the wrong way, but other than that it is really good!
