I'm 48 years old, and when I tell my wife I want a new Rubik's cube, I have to put up with her angry talk for a while. So now I don't tell her anything, I buy it, but I think she is already starting to suspect something since there are a lot of cubes scattered throughout the house

I use the same strategy for my reptiles and my cubes. I just buy a new one, and when they see it, I tell them I had it and it was from the last order. Works every time.

Wat leuk dat er andere Nederlanders op de forums zijn!
Mijn ouders boeit het niet echt, het is mn eigen geld en ik mag het besteden waar ik wil. Ik heb ook een baan waarmee ik wat verdien, dus is het echt geen probleem. Mbt kerst en verjaardagen vinden ze het eigenlijk wel fijn omdat het goedkope cadeaus zijn en het heel makkelijk is om mij er blij mee te maken haha

Translation:
Cool that there are other Dutch people on the forums! My parents don't really care, it's my own money and I can spend it wherever I desire. I also have a job so I make some money, so it really isn't a problem. For Christmas and birthdays they actually like buying cubes because it's relatively cheap and is a very easy way to guarantee making me happy haha
