Don't use this website called Lazada to buy cubes if you live in southasia. I have tried it twice and ended up getting disappointed. at first when I started cubing, I asked my dad to buy a 4x4, He bought one for me. When I received the order, I got a 5x5, not a 4x4. We double checked the order and it said 4x4. And last week i wanted a cube so i asked my dad to buy the super rs3m standard version, He did order it, It costed Malaysian Ringgit 25.60 but I received a the normal RS3M 2020 which costs Malaysian Ringgit 16.90, and it came from China so no refund too! I am not saying that all sellers in Lazada are cheating like this or misplacing your order without responsibility, A few are responsible, but the majority are irresponsible sellers. So buy cubes from your locol cube store like jpearly.com for me and thecubicle or speedcubeshop for people in USA and Canada etc

Hope this was informative, If I posted this in the wrong section, please inform me so i can delete it and post it in the correct one. (This is supposed to be a suggestion so I posted it here)

Once, I wanted to buy a very rare cube timer, which is the YJ timer. It is rare because it was made illegal in the US due to copyright infringement. Thus, finding a cube store that would ship one to the US was very hard.

So I found a store called cuberspace, and I bought the timer from there. It took about 4 weeks to come.

Once it came, I had to push hard on the timer in certain areas in order to get anything to display. So, when I told them about the problem, they tried to help me fix it. In the end, they told me I had to buy new screwdrivers to fix the timer. I asked for a refund since I didn't want to do that, and they refused.

i wish i had a physical cube shop near by
I think you said once you were going to New England Champs. Using this information I’m going to assume that you live in New England. In New York there is a very popular cube shop called the Cubicle.

if you read chinese i think get them directly from some reputable taobao shop.

For lazada/shopee, try to read more review from other products in the some shop, also check how long the shop has been running, and also dont try to buy from smaller shop just to save a few ringgit, bigger shop typically has better customer service.

Wait daily puzzles isn't too bad though right? I literally ordered cubes from daily puzzles to the US with 5.50USD shipping which was pretty insane (in a good way) considering it has to move international borders.
You think that's bad.
I live in New Zealand, where the only cube stores in the country are overpriced and overused. Shipping costs a FORTUNE
