I'm starting a cubing progression thread and have no idea why, but I'm doing it anyway.
I'm a 14 year old cuber from the Netherlands and I really enjoy going to competitions. I practise pyraminx, 3x3, 4x4, 3x3 oh and squan the most. I also practise skewb and big cubes from time to time.
Here are my current averages:
2x2: 5.5 sec
3x3: 14 sec
4x4: 1 min
5x5: 2 min & 10 sec
6x6: 4 min & 30 sec
7x7: 7 min
pyra: 3.7 sec
skewb: 6.5 sec
squan: 24 sec
clock: 15 sec
mega: 2 min & 40 sec
3x3 oh: 28 sec

I got a really nice pb ao5 today with oh: 20.89 seconds. I'm averaging around 27 seconds.

I solved my first Rubik's cube in October 2021. I learned 4x4 quickly after. In March 2022 I started practicing and wanted to become faster. So I started cubing a year and a half ago and speedcubing a little over a year ago.

I went to Ermelo Cubing B today. I'm really happy with my pyraminx and 4x4 results. I podiumed for the first time, which was really cool.

I'm learning Roux and might eventually switch to the method. I now have two weeks of vacation, so I have a lot of time to practice for my competiton on the 14th of May. It is possible that I end up losing interest in Roux and just continue solving with cfop.

Just a quick update: I practised roux the first two days of the week. Now I'm not practising 3x3. Only pyraminx and squan. Because I'm doing so much solves, I'm progressing really fast and averaging 3.4 with pyraminx and sub 21 with squan.

Since my last competition I'm the fastest female Dutch pyraminxer and if I get sub 20 average with squan, I will also be the fastest female Dutch squaner.

I'm now sub 20 with squan!!!
Also, I found out a week ago that Tymon Kolasiński will compete at my next competition, so that's pretty cool.

My averages now of the events I practised:
3x3: 13.5 sec (I stopped using roux)
Pyraminx: 3.15 sec
Squan: 19.5 sec
5x5: 2:15.00 (I do now use Yau5 instead of redux
3x3 oh: 26 sec

I had a competition this weekend. Some things went great and some not so great.
My 4th pyraminx solve was a 7 mover, but I didn't start the timer (again) and then I messed up my 5th.
But really happy with squan, 3x3 and 3x3 OH. Now I'm also best female square oner in the Netherlands.
It was cool seeing Tymon Kolasiński. I judged him at 5x5.

Thats sad for your 7 mover, could have been a pr i think, i also judged tymon at 5x5, and 3x3 finals was also very nice to see since tymon was there.
